 David Lobenberg Watercolor Workshops

Title:  Commercial Holiday Art Watercolor Workshop

Workshop location at David's spacious and newly remodeled studio in East Sacramento from 9:00-3:30 p.m.:  December 1,8,9, 2006

The Workshop:  This class will emphasize David’s commercial approach to painting holiday images.  You will be doing a new painting each day of the workshop.  For students attending the full workshop, David will be providing a short consultation of your current work and provide comments on your commercial approach.

The Artist: David Lobenberg discovered watercolors at the age of 12, and has continued to paint ever since.  He received his Bachelor of Art Degree in Graphic Design from UCLA and his Master’s Degree in Fine Art. His style has an abandon of discipline but almost magically, what he paints is portrayed accurately and realistically. Along with his wife, Cheryl, he owns and operates a watercolor/graphic design studio. He conducts workshops locally and is an adjunct art professor at Sacramento City College. His commissioned paintings are included in the corporate/institutional collections of Alex Spanos, Bel Aire/Raley’s Markets, California State University, Sacramento, Del Webb Corporation, Sacramento County Office of Education and Wells Fargo Bank, as well as in the private collections of the Frank Fat Family, Michael Lyon and Russ Solomon. His work has been reproduced as limited edition art prints for Maloof Sports and Entertainment, (Kings and Monarchs), the City of Sacramento, Sacramento Ballet, Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau, 2000 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trails, Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, Sacramento Music Circus, Sacramento Opera Association, and the Sacramento Rivercats. David welcomes all levels of students.             

Fee:       $120 per day,   360 per session
            Non-members of Sacramento Fine Arts Center Inc. must add $15 per day for each workshop   

To Register:
Registration is by mail or drop off only.  Please send a deposit of $100 for the three-day workshop.  (Balance must be received 60 days prior to the start of the workshop.) All registration will be based on postmark. Include a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope for your supply/material list which will be sent only after the registrar receives the full balance due for your registration.

Refund Policy:  This refund policy statement must be signed by each enrollee:
I understand workshop deposits are refundable (less $50 fee) up to sixty (60) days prior to start date of workshop.  After the due date, entire workshop fee refunds (less a $50 fee) are given only if my space is filled.
